The Nigerian national football team achieved the unimaginable in 1996, winning gold at the USA Olympics despite tremendous political turmoil and upheaval in Nigeria.

Featuring key footballers of the team including Jay Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, Taribo West, Celestine Babayaro and Emmanuel Amunike. An intimate love letter to Nigerian football, the film documents the emotional journey of the players as they attempt to overcome adversity – from poverty, military dictatorships, riots, lack of infrastructure, administration and racism.
